JOHN E. DeVALK

Age 77, passed away Saturday, July 4th, 2020 at his home in Mokena.

John is survived by his loving family, wife, Diana DeValk (Valiga), sons, John (Anita) DeValk, Eric (Jennifer) DeValk, sisters, Edith DeValk, Martha DeValk, grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, Ryan, Evan, Elena and Sean.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John & Anna DeValk (Kampenga) and sisters Patsy Zator, Evelyn Hotwagner and Lorraine Kuhnen.

John was a United States Marine Corps Veteran who proudly served his country; he was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. John loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEARING FACE MASKS IS MANDATORY FOR THOSE IN ATTENDANCE.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 from 4:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
