Age 83, of Frankfort, IL. formally of New Lenox, IL. passed away Friday August 8, 2025, at her home in Frankfort. Joan is survived by her loving family children: William (Nancy) Jennings, Jodi (Dan) Sheahan, Judi (Mike) Janovic; grandchildren: Katie and Will Jennings, Madeline (Jesus Salomon), John, Emily (Spencer Liebermann), Sophie, Allison Sheahan, Ryan (Alexis Eccles), and Kyle Janovic; sister Susan Ruether and her children Mike (Heidi), John, Michelle Seklecki

She was proceeded in death by her husband Garrick Hanson 

Family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church 241 W. 2nd ave. New Lenox, IL. 60451 on Tuesday August 12, 2025 from 10AM to 11AM. A mass of Christian burial will then take place at 11AM. Interment will be immediately following mass at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Rd. Elwood, IL. 60421
