Jill Siwinski

Jill Siwinski age 66, of New Lenox, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet, IL. on February 26, 1960, to the late Howard and Doris (nee Richardson) Norberg. Jill is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Kenneth Siwinski, children Kyle (Amy) Siwinski, Jake (Ashley) Siwinski, grandchildren Duncan, Keira, Kyleigh, Kase, siblings Tim Norberg, Judy Norberg, Tom (Kathy) Norberg, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

As a dedicated employee of New Lenox School District 122, Jill had a special place in her heart for children. She spent many years working as a recess and lunchroom supervisor and as a crossing guard. This is where she became a familiar and caring presence to countless children. She loved being around them, spending her days with them, helping them, laughing with them, and making sure they felt safe and cared for. Her kindness and warmth left an impression on many young lives.

Of all the roles she held in life, being a mom and grandma were her greatest. Jill raised two boys to be hard workers, dedicated friends, and caring fathers. She absolutely adored her grandchildren. Kyleigh, Kase, Duncan, and Keira brought her endless happiness, and Jill cherished every moment she spent with them. From splash pads to fishing, baseball fields to lunches out, Easter egg hunts to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jill celebrated with her grandkids, making sure they knew how much she enjoyed spending time together. She was incredibly proud to be their grandma and loved each one of them with her whole heart.

Jill will be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to her family, her love of children, and the simple joys that made her happy. She leaves behind beautiful memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL) from 12 pm until 3 pm.
