Jill T. McEldowney (nee Mitchell)

Age 65, of New Lenox, IL passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Jill was born in Chicago, IL to the late John E. and late Nancy J. (nee Valliere) Mitchell.

Beloved wife of 46 years of Tim McEldowney; loving mother of Kelly McEldowney and Elizabeth McEldowney; cherished grandmother of Paisley Boettcher; dear sister of Lori (Bob DiLorenzo) Hill, Robert (Stacy) Mitchell, and Rene (George Lange) Bochenek; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Jill retired from Dr. Ronald Tupik’s office, New Lenox, IL. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jill will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Mokena, IL.
