Age 78, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, entered into rest with our Lord on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Wood Dale, Illinois, Jill attended East Leyden High School and later graduated from Triton College and Elmhurst College. She carried her dedication to learning, family, and faith throughout her life.

Jill was the beloved wife of James Augustine for 54 years. Together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Michael (Amy) and Jacquelyn (Ed), and a proud grandmother to Preston, Patrick, and Olivia, who were her greatest joy.

She will be remembered for kindness, her quiet strength, and her boundless love for her family. Jill’s warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday August 28, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. and again on Friday August 29, 2025, from 10:00AM until prayers at 10:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow prayers at 11:30AM St. Mary Mokena 19515 115th Ave. Mokena, IL. 60448. Interment will be private at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
