Jeremiah “Jerry” Slick Jr.
83, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at his home. Jerry was born in Mt. Carroll, IL to the late Jeremiah Sr. and Laura (nee Herman) Slick. He is survived by his wife Darlene (nee Wahl); children, Lori (Bob) Fritz, Tina (Bill) Borgo, and Brian (Mary) Slick; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sisters, Gladys and Bonnie; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Ronald, Carlos, Geneva, Forest, Evelyn, Virgil, Marvin, Dorothy, and Marcella. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Programmer from Caterpillar. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude's Catholic Church in New Lenox or the church of your choice would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 3:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00pm. Interment will be private.
