59, of Mokena, went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on January 26, 2019. Beloved husband of Kim (nee Almond) Hopkins; cherished father of Karli (Nick) Eggert and Jacob Hopkins; proud grandpa of Cooper and Easton Eggert; brother of Darrell Hopkins and Debbie Eungard. Proceeded in death by brother, Mike Hopkins and sister-in-law Lynn (nee Almond) Ogden. Jeff & Kim enjoyed spending time & traveling together. Jeff, Cooper, & Easton had a passion for playing football, swimming, & searching for sea shells on the beach. Jeff loved golfing & exercising with Jacob, & working side by side with Karli. Jeff was the owner of H&H Machinery Movers for 28 years and supported the Machinery Movers, Riggers, Machinery Erectors Local 136. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 for a visitation from 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Interment will be private.
