Jeanette A. Yohe

Jeannette A. Yohe, age 64, passed away at home in Mokena on Sunday, March 7th, 2021.
Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Darwin) Long, and Tammy (Eric) Bailey; companion Ron Ehlers; grandchildren, Isaac Long, Cole Long, Xavier Long, Savion Long, Te’A Long, Jared Bailey, and Bryson Bailey; and her siblings, Katheryn (nee Kotos) Kuhr and Laura (nee Kotos) Frain.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Joyce (nee Kopecky) Kotos; and her brother Frank P. Kotos Jr.
Jeanette will be remembered for her incredible work ethic. She was a beloved manager at Bennigans Restaurant and Francesca’s Restaurant where she worked for many years and was adored by her staff. She was originally from Burbank, IL and Mokena, IL later in her life. She was an avid gardener, along with the love of doing crafts, especially ceramics. She also loved to travel with her prince, Ron to a number of states across the country. Jeanette had a heart of gold and a want to always help others. She would always try to get involved and help out as many local charities in the area as she could.
Services for Jeanette will begin on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox at 102 E. Francis Rd. with a visitation being held from 3pm until 8pm. The following day another visitation will be held at the funeral chapel from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Masks and social distancing are required. Per Jeanette’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
