Mokena

Janet Lovingfoss (nee Sikora) 74, of Mokena was born in Chicago to Edward and Nettie Sikora and passed away on February 21, 2024. Beloved wife of Fred Lovingfoss, loving mother of Scott & Shari Lovingfoss and Eric & Erin Lovingfoss; the proudest grandma of Devan, Mason, Christian, Liam; and mother of her four legged bestie Bella. Janet was the most caring mother, who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to see them holidays, birthdays and at sporting events. Janet loved family vacations and traveling especially to Aruba. She also never missed an opportunity to talk about her favorite shows. Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Michigan, was special to her for gathering with the family and friends over the summer for 45+ years. She loved boating, going to the beach, gathering, eating together, making appetizers, building fires (good ones), playing cards & games and a few cocktails with family and friends. All were always welcome. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort IL. on Tuesday February 27, 2024 from 4pm until time of service at 7pm. Interment will be private.
