James H. Williams

James H. Williams, age 70, passed away peacefully at home in New Lenox on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

James is survived by his son Jeremy Williams; daughter-in-law Lauren; grandson Declan; girlfriend Gloria Franco, and her sons Anthony (Lauren) and Eric Garcia; and his sisters, Margaret Amato, Mary (Timothy) Hannig, Joellen (Robert) Rohde, Kathleen (Carl) Collina; and sister-in-law Janice Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Catherine (nee Smith) Williams; his brother Thomas Williams; and his nephew Keith Boyer.

Born in Chicago on November 9^th, 1953 to James and Catherine Williams. He was raised in Chicago Heights and was a 1972 graduate of Bloom High School. James then graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelors Degree and spent many years working as an Insurance Broker until his retirement in 2019. He was also a proud member of the Calumet Yacht Club. James was a great man and will be missed by all that knew him.

Services for James will be held on Sunday, June 30^th, 2024 with a visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Franics Road in New Lenox, from 11am until the time of service at 3:30pm.
