James John Durkin

James John Durkin, age 64, a resident of Monee formerly of Park Forest, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. Loving husband of Cindy Durkin (Kolb); beloved brother of William (Mary) Durkin; Michael (Marianne) Durkin and Thomas (Theresa) Durkin; dearest uncle of Katie Durkin, Candace Baker, Mary Kate McGarry, Jessica Durkin, Amanda Hogen, Joseph Shoemaker, Jennifer Dulkowski, Katie Banks, Matthew Banks, Frank Kolb, Thomas Durkin and Brandy Hart; fond brother-in-law Joe and Mary Kolb, Kim and Rick Banks. He was preceded in death by his parents William J. and Mary (Ganz) Durkin. He was a building engineer for Thornton Township School District. A celebration of life will be held for James at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
