James S. Hargarten II

Age 52 of Chicago and more recently of New Lenox, IL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL.  Jim was born in Chicago, IL to Nancy (nee O’Neal) and the late James S. Hargarten Sr.  He is survived by his mother Nancy, his fiancé Kristina Lewandowski, and her daughter April Lewandowski.  

Jim was a loving and caring person who loved music and baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Jim loved to make people laugh and could always find humor in the most mundane to the most difficult of life's circumstances. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Private family services were held. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Hickory Creek Brewing Company in New Lenox, IL.
