Jacqueline J. Nakos

Jacqueline J. Nakos, nee Nelson, age 71, of Frankfort for over 50 years. Born in Sturgeon Bay, WI on December 15, 1954, she passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026 in Olympia Fields, IL. Beloved wife of the late Terry Nakos; loving mother of Dimitrios (Julie Ann) Nakos and Katherine Nakos; grandmother of Ambrosia, Anastasia, Damian, Theodore and Johnny; sister of Barbara (Larry "Sonny") Pena, Karen Nelson, Vickie (Terry) Flynn, Guy (the late Sue) Nelson, Nancy (Pat) Nelson, Jeffrey (Bridgett) Nelson and the late Donald "Sonny" Nelson Jr.; aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Nelson Sr. and Ruth O Nelson, nee Poehls. Jacqueline placed her family above all else, especially her grandchildren. Spending time with the family always lead to memories she cherished every day.

Family will receive friends Friday, October 30, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel Frankfort, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423.
