Jacqueline Dunigan

Jacqueline Dunigan, age 85, a resident of Lemont formerly of San Francisco, CA, Chicago, Tinley Park, and Monee, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Lemont Nursing Home in Lemont. Beloved mother of Lori (Ric) Munoz, Linda ( late Wayne “Joey”) Baxter, George (Vicki) Dunigan, Debbie (Dave) Schroer, Joseph (Jeannie) Dunigan and Connie (Andrew) Sleezer; loving grandmother of Jason (Rose) Baxter, Michael (Melissa) Baxter, Jennifer (Brian) Slusarczyk, Ricky (Carli) Munoz, Charlie (Katie) Munoz, Tony Munoz, Melissa (Craig) DeSimone, Rebecca (Fiancé Jason Scamardo) Dunigan, Alyssa (Taylor) McPhearson, Joey (Molly) Dunigan, Josh Dunigan, Jake Dunigan, Dustin (Jessica) Dunigan, David Schroer, Jeremy Anderson and Nichole (fiancé Kevin Kozel) Olson; proud great grandmother of 16; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Charles F. Dunigan; parents Warren Wilford and Frances Laura (Clear) Moran; siblings Marlene Putz, her twin Melouise Wallace and Leo Moran. While Jacqueline worked several different jobs throughout her life, she will be remembered most for the love and pride she had for her children and family. Her door was always open and coffee ready for whoever stopped by for a visit. She loved to laugh, loved to listen to great music, especially Elvis, and was always up for a great road trip adventure with her husband. Those road trips led them to see some of the most beautiful places across the United States but also left her family with some of the funniest stories of those travels due to their style of traveling. Her smile, her hugs, and love will be so dearly missed by all of her family, but they are comforted that she is with husband now and they are forever together. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, September 19, 2020, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Memorial service on Tuesday, September 20. 2022 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
