Jack J. Mejdrich

Age 83, of Tinley Park formerly of Chicago and Burbank, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Maywood IL. Jack is survived by his loving family; sons Jack, Brian (Lisa Lohan) and Steven (Shannon) Mejdrich; grandchildren Ashley and Amber Majewski, Christina, Brooke, Corryn, Joseph and Kylie Mejdrich. Jack was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly (Tony) Delvaux, brother Gene Mejdrich and his parents Julius and Mae (nee Hiybl) Mejdrich. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Korea, a volunteer at the Museum of Science and Industry, member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Navy Sea Cadet Program, Civil Air Patrol and Boy Scout Troup # 385 and 307. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, Illinois 60451 on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 2-7PM. And again on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church 17100 S. 69th Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477 from 8:00AM until time of funeral service at 9:00AM.
