Howard Thomas Hickey

Howard Thomas Hickey, age 83, a resident of New Lenox, formerly of Oak Forest, passed away on January 21, 2022. Loving husband of the late Sharon Hickey; beloved father of Mark (Patrice) Hickey, Scott (Denise) Hickey and Craig (Laurine) Hickey; dearest brother of the late Ken (Karen) Hickey; cherished grandfather of Ryan (Michelle) Hickey, Collin Hickey, Jillian Hickey, Jaclyn (Jess) Herbold and Brett Hickey; proud great grandfather of Charlotte Hickey, Scotlyn Hickey and Luke Herbold. He was a graduate of Leo High School, a booster for the Oak Forest Bengals Football and an avid High School football fan. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Road New Lenox IL 60451 on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
