Howard R. Norberg

HOWARD R. NORBERG

Age 92, passed away Friday, March 8th, 2024 at his home in New Lenox.                     

 Howard is survived by his loving family, children, Tim Norberg, Judy Norberg, Tom (Kathy) Norberg, Jill (Ken) Siwinski, grandchildren, Lindsey (Pat) Norberg-Fellers, Lauren Norberg, Marja (Patrick) Cullen, Kyle (Amy) Siwinski, Jake (Ashley) Siwinski, great grandchildren, Duncan Siwinski, Keira Siwinski, Kase Siwinski and Aubrey Norberg.   

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Runo & Ruby Norberg (Stymans), wife, Doris Norberg (Richardson), siblings, Earl Norberg, Lee Norberg, Lorraine Zier and grandson Christopher Norberg.  

Howard was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and graduate of Joliet Township High School.  He was a member of Local 444 Ironworkers Joliet where he served as a past Business Agent and member of Will County Sheriff Merit Commission.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Interment with military honors, Thursday, March 14th, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.  Please arrive to the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
