Henry L. “Hank” Troutman
77, lifelong New Lenox resident, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Hank was born in Joliet to Glen and Alice (nee Tomlinson) Troutman. Beloved husband of Mary “Liz” (nee Thorpe); loving father of Rebecca (Robert) Wagner, Theresa Sawyer, Richard Troutman, and David Troutman; cherished grandfather of Hayden and Hunter Sawyer, and Henry, Evangeline, and Elizabeth Wagner; loving son of Alice and the late Glen Troutman; dear brother of Ray (Rita) Troutman, the late Chuck (Joan) Troutman, the late Ginny Rooke, and the late Julie Reavis; numerous nieces, and nephews also survive, along with his pets, Peanut, Puddin' Pie and Sassy. Hank was a self-employed mechanic. He also worked for Diamond Construction and Windy City Drilling. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E Francis Rd, New Lenox on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4pm – 8pm. Funeral Service Saturday, August 4, 2018 10:00am at the funeral home.
