Helen Ragsdell (nee Gjerko)
Age 81, of Frankfort for 39 years, formerly of Harvey, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Helen is survived by her daughters: Sheryl Astudillo, Sharon Fricano, and Karen (Rick) Fritch; 6 grandchildren: Richard, Robert, Nicole, Jason, Tonya, and Russell; and 3 great-grandchildren: Augie, Robby, and Adelina. Helen was born August 2nd, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents: Foti and Mabel Gjerko (nee Christy); her husband: Russell S. Ragsdell Jr., and sisters: Tessie Antonucci (Al) and Evelyn Herrera (Millard). Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 from 3 to 8 PM. Funeral Service, Friday, August 2nd, 2013 (Helen's 82nd Birthday) at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort.
