Harold Schumacher

Age 55, of New Lenox passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Harold was born in Evergreen Park, IL to the late Harold and Terry (nee Devita) Schumacher. Beloved husband of Dawnn (nee Bouchard) Schumacher; loving father of Nicholas (Hannah) Schumacher and Tyler Schumacher; proud, soon to be grandfather, of granddaughter Drew Schumacher; dear brother of the late Ron (late Kathy) Schumacher, Sue (John) Detrick, Gary (Lynn) Schumacher, the late Galen (Karen) Schumacher, Mark (Debbi) Schumacher, and Rick (Lisa) Schumacher; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many, also survived by his loving mother-in-law June Wallace. Harold was employed as a diesel mechanic with Parsec Inc. for many years. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, and cooking on the grill. Harold will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 3pm – 8pm. Interment will be private.
