Gwendolyn June Davis

Gwendolyn June Davis, age 77, longtime resident of Mokena formerly of the Roseland area, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Loving wife of Robert M. Davis; beloved mother of Jeffrey (Inez) Davis, Brian (Christina) Davis, Bobbie Jean (Gene) Leonard and Billie Jo (Scott) March; dearest sister of Nancy Amador, Carolyn Maynard, Sharon (Frank) VanAelst, William Crince and James (Debbie) Crince; cherished grandmother of Remington, Mason, Grace, Lauren and Jake Davis, Gene, Anthony, Nicole, Kristine and Megan Leonard, Alexa and Natasha March; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Gwendolyn worked for many years as a librarian at the Mokena Public Library and also as head waitress at Georgios Banquets Comfort Inn & Conference Center, Orland Park, a member of a bowling league at Orland Bowl, Orland Park. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 3:00PM until time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 7:00PM. Interment will be private.
