GUY J. BENTIVENGA

 Age 89, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 at the Cottages of New Lenox. 

Guy is survived by his loving family, wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Spallina Bentivenga (Shapiro), children, Michael Bentivenga, Jimmy Bentivenga, Karen Bentivenga, Stephen Bentivenga, stepchildren, James (Erica) Spallina Jr., Joseph (Danielle) Spallina, stepbrother, Sam (Clare) Deane, grandchildren, Joseph, Arden and numerous nieces and nephews.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Vincenzino & Marie Bentivenga (Kukula), first wife, Doris Bentivenga (Sauer) and brother Vincent Bentivenga. 

Guy was a United States Air Force Veteran and graduate of Mount Carmel High School and the University of Notre Dame. He was formerly employed by Don Tennant Advertising Agency and retired Adjunct Professor from Moraine Valley Community College.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 from 8:30 AM until time of prayer service at 11:30 AM and then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Interment, Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association act.alz.org would be greatly appreciated.
