Gloria Alice Bormet

Gloria A. Bormet (nee Perry) Age 74, of New Lenox, IL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Gloria was born in Texas to the late Harold and Ethel Perry.

Beloved wife of the late Warren V. Bormet; loving mother of Jennifer Rosenburg and Amanda (Christopher) Rebout; cherished Grammie of Addison and Alexander Rosenburg, and Niall, Callum, and Lucille Rebout; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Gloria graduated from Plainfield High School. She loved Elvis and reading books. Gloria retired from First Midwest Bank, where she worked as Supervisor of Account Reconciliation. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Wilmington, IL where she was also part of the PEO. She enjoyed family parties and spending time with family and friends. Gloria will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2pm – 6pm. Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:30am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
