Gerald “Jerry” Martin
Age 58, a resident of Mokena, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019. Beloved husband of Laura (Gress); loving father of Lisa (Erik) Schroen, Jerry Martin, and Kayla (Joey Oakes) Martin; cherished grandfather of Rylee, Sawyer, and Carson Schroen; dear brother of the late Betty Lou; fond son-in-law of the late Andrew (Patricia L.) Gress and brother-in-law late Debra Kanya, Linda (Jeff) Bertucci, Tina (Bill) Stewart, and Ricky Gress; also survived by his dear friends Mike Katula and Jim Stoll and many more. Jerry was an avid fisherman and die-hard Chicago Sports fan. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 3:00 PM until time of Prayer service at 7:00 PM. Interment private.
