George W. Holstein, age 69 of Lockport formerly of Peru, passed away on January 20, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Loving husband of Rosa Holstein (Lescano); beloved father of Jo (Nick) Panczuk and Jennifer Holstein; beloved brother of Rosa (Jerico) Caceres; cherished grandfather of Nathaniel and Frederick. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday January 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. ALL THOSE ATTENDING ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. Interment will be private.
