George E. Weiland Jr, age 84 of Olympia Fields formerly of Orland Park passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. Loving husband of LaVerne (Nee Noyes); dear father of George (Denise) Weiland III and Gayle (James) Smith; cherished grandchildren Kimberly (Donald) Rogers, George (Sandra) Weiland, Michelle Weiland, Jeremiah Smith, Jake (Ami) Smith and Josh (Melissa) Smith and proud great grandfather of 9. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp and a member of the American Legion Post 392 in Peotone. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 3-8pm. Funeral service in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 9:30am leaving for St. Anthony Church for a 10:00am mass of Christian burial. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
