GEORGE F. ASHLEY

Age 77 of Cedar Lake IN, passed away on Sunday, February 18^th, 2024 at his home. 

George is survived by his loving family, children, Ami (Paul) Workman, Laura Ashley, Andrew (Soonae) Ashley, Gwendolyn Ashley, siblings, Gladys Stuart, Richard Ashley and grandson, Alexander Ashley.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George & Mary Ashley (Shane), wife, Lois Ashley (Dau), son, Edward Ashley and sibling Dave Ashley.

George was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tinley Park and a United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam.

A graveside service with military honors is scheduled at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421 on Tuesday, February 27^th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Please arrive to the cemetery by 9:45 AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church in New Lenox would be greatly appreciated.
