85, lifelong Mokena Resident. Passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his loving wife Bernadine (nee Jurvich); sons, Michael (Laura), Thomas (Diann), James (Wendy) and Joseph (Carol); a daughter-in-law Karen Rinke; grandchildren; Katie (Mike) Rojas, Kim Rinke, Lauren Rinke, Kyle Rinke, Zac Rinke, Toby Driscoll, Erin (Missy) Rinke, Jamie (fiancé Matt Kealey) Rinke, Kylee Rinke, Caitlin Rinke, Ryan Rinke and Grace Rinke; a great grandson David Rinke; sisters Gladys (the late Fred) Weber and Carolynn (Dale) Reils; brother-in-law Raymond (Debra) Jurvich; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend Paulette Hossbach. Preceded in death by his parents George and Hyacinth (Heiman) Rinke; a son David; sisters Hyacinth (the late Ken) Corniels and Mary Ann (the late Jack) Lee. George was a WWII and a Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran. He was employed as a welder for Caterpillar and for Anzelc Welding. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451, on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 3 - 8PM. Funeral Monday, January 23, 2012 with prayers at 9:15AM to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Mokena.
