Age 58, of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. George was born in Evergreen, Park, IL to the late Clarence and Eileen (nee Collins) Nordstrom. Beloved husband of Kim (nee Micheletto) Nordstrom; loving father of Madison Nordstrom and George Nordstrom; dear brother of Kathleen (Jim) Brassell, Patricia (Mike) Boskey, Barbara (late George) Lucas, and Richard (Andrea) Nordstrom; loved uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend of many. George enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Services Wednesday, May 10, 2023, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
