Genevieve Mary Gliottoni

Genevieve “Gen” Gliottoni nee Caruso, 93 of Glenwood and Chicago Heights, passed away May 17, 2024. She is survived by her children: Joseph (Theresa) Gliottoni, John III (Josephine) Gliottoni, and Lori (late Rick) Johnson, Grandchildren: Michelle (Jose) Rodriquez, Danielle (Kris) Nowak, Genna (Brian) Brems, Michael (Jaclyn) Kuchyak, Sarah, Angela, Johnny, Christopher Gliottoni, Emily and Erik Johnson. Great-grandchildren: Noah, Cordelia, Eleanor Rodriquez, Caroline, James Nowak, and Marty Jane Brems, Weston Lee, Michael, Gabriel Kuchyak and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Gen was preceded by her husband of 52 years, John Gliottoni, Jr., her siblings and their spouses:  Rose (Santo) Caruso, Sarah (Frank) Alampi, Nancy (Joe) Asilo, Joseph Caruso, Vincent Caruso. Born to the late Anthony and late Vincenza “Jennie” Caruso in East Detroit, MI, Gen was raised in East Detroit and graduated from East Detroit High School.  She was a member of St. Kieran Catholic Church and formerly St. Rocco Church in Chicago Heights.  Visitation will be held on Fri., May 24 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sat., May 25 from 8:15 a.m. until time of prayers at 9:15 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL.  Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Heights Parish at St. Kieran Church, 724 W. 195^th St., Chicago Heights at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment following at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.  For information or to sign the guestbook please visit heartlandmemorial.com or call 708-444-2266.
