GARY G. JOHANSEN

Age 79 of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, August 22nd 2016 at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.

Gary is survived by his loving family, children, Karen (Mark) Smetana, John (Shanon) Johansen, grandchildren, Jonathan (Kelly) Greene, Ryan Smetana, Kayley Smetana and Ella Johansen.

Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Johansen (Ruhling) and parents, Olaf & Maxine Johansen (Perry).

Gary was an avid fisherman and greatly enjoyed golfing. He retired from Eastman Kodak in Oak Brook.

Interment will be private. Guests are invited to join the family at Gatto's Restaurant, 1938 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 anytime between 4:00 – 8:00 PM for a casual celebration of Gary's life.
