Age 79, of Frankfort, IL. passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at his home in Frankfort. John was a devoted husband, a caring father, and the best Tata ever. After moving to the United States as a child, he became a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, loyal through every season. He was a man of many skills—a business owner, a handyman, and a world traveler.
John was a proud Sicilian-American and accomplished home cook and baker. His meals, inspired by his roots, brought family and friends together and created lasting memories, especially during the holidays. In retirement, he found a love for painting; his canvases were often inspired by real-life moments and family photographs.
John’s smile and infectious laugh brightened every room and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends in the Chicago area, New York City, and Naples, FL, and he will be forever remembered with love.
