FREDERICK W. OTTE SR.

Age 88, formerly of Alsip, passed away Monday, May 24th, 2021 at Salem Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Joliet.

Frederick is survived by his loving family, children, Cindy McDorman, Steven (Susan) Otte, Frederick Otte Jr., Jeffrey Otte, sister, Dorothy Jagnus, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Claus & Anna Otte (Herzke), wife, Norma Otte (Brouette), siblings, Edward Otte and Fran (Harvey) Clack.

Frederick was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He retired from Clark Oil Refinery in Blue Island after 41 years of service; he was a volunteer Fire Fighter for Alsip and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
