Frank W. Sneed

Age 73 of Mokena, IL, formerly of Tinley Park, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Frank was born in Chicago to the late Allen H. and Mary E. (nee Shepard) Sneed. Beloved husband of 44 years of Mary (nee McKee) Sneed; loving father of Jessica Sneed, Adam (Adrienne Petravich) Sneed, the late Sarah Sneed, and Jason Sneed; cherished grandfather of Jayden Stevens and Austin Sneed; dear brother of Danny (Lorean) Sneed; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Frank retired from ADT in 2014. Frank played music most of his life. He was an accomplished musician, singer, and songwriter. He played various instruments in many different bands over the years, but most recently had been playing in the band Slage. Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Lung Association in Frank’s name would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 4pm – 9pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Bethania Cemetery, Justice, IL.
