Frances Therese Porembski (née Eufrasia Therese Sabatini) 1927 – 2025

Frances Therese Porembski, age 98, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Frances was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Teresa (née Fonte) Sabatini. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Porembski, with whom she shared a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to family, through their 63 years of blessed marriage.

Frances was the devoted mother of Therese (Robin) Farias-Eisner, Patricia (Joseph) Krause, Judith (Michael), and Anthony (Diane) Porembski. She was a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren.

A woman of deep faith, Frances lived a life rooted in devotion, gratitude, and grace. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved unconditionally and supported wholeheartedly. Frances considered herself richly blessed and found peace in the love that surrounded her throughout her life.

She departed this world with serenity and a heart full of gratitude, confident in the promise of eternal life and the reunion with loved ones who went before her.

A memorial will follow in October. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Frances’ memory and devotion to St. Jude, her favorite saint.
