Evelyn Paskiewicz

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021 Evelyn Paskiewicz, at the age of 95, passed away.
Evelyn was the devoted daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Miksza) Paskiewicz. She was born and grew up in West Pullman. She attended Assumption B.V.M. school and graduated from St. Louis Academy. After high school she started working at International Harvester Pullman Works as a secretary. She retired as an executive secretary.
Evelyn was an avid and accomplished golfer and bowler. She lived in West Pullman, Calumet City, Homewood, and Olympia Fields.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Paskiewicz, and her siblings, Valerie Higgins, Jane Kilis, Al Paskewicz, Gertrude Edborg and Harry Paskiewicz. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Evelyn loved her extended family and always remembered birthdays and special occasions. She babysat and was involved in all their lives and will be missed by everyone. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Church 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the National Shrine of St. Jude would be appreciated.
