Eric A. Westlund

Age 78, of Mokena, passed away Friday, September 12th, 2025 at his home in Mokena.

Eric is survived by his loving family, wife, Cheryl Westlund (Edgecombe), children, Kari (Dan) Fleck, Joril Westlund, Bjorn (Erica) Westlund, grandchildren, Sten Fleck, Soren Fleck, Gunnar Westlund, Henric Westlund and many cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Sten & Johanna “Jean” Westlund (Boe).

Eric was a member of Lodge #810 in Tinley Park and served as Worshipful Master; Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago and Medinah Shriners; Job’s Daughters International.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 12 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423. Interment will be private at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
