Age 70, of Mokena, passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Ellen is survived by her loving family, children, Brian (Charmaine) Renken, Heather (Ron) O’Neal, siblings, Richard Kluth, Joy (Bob) Van Huis, Martin Kluth, granddaughter, Zoe Renken and soon to be grandson Bruce O’Neal.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy & Aileen “Sylvia” Kluth (Harmon), husband, Bruce Renken and sister, Marilyn (John) Kooyenga.

Ellen was a longtime faithful member of St. John’s UCC Church in Mokena. She was also a member of Quilter’s Club of America and Bundles of Love Quilter’s Group of St. John’s Church.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of the memorial service at 3:00 PM.
