Eleanor Goers
Age 90, a resident of Channahon, formerly of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Goers; loving mother of Leonard Goers and Greg Goers; cherished grandmother of Emma (Steven) Lee and Christopher Goers; and great-grandmother of Jovie and Thea Lee; dear sister of Lawrence (Maryann) Waszak, Robert (Marion) Waszak, and Adeline (late Robert) Richards; fond sister-in-law of Evelyn Goers; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Margaret Waszak (Gozdecki). Eleanor was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing bingo. She was very attentive to children. She took great pleasure in babysitting, and caring for them. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
