Age 84, of Lockport, passed away Monday, September 29th, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.

Eleanor is survived by her loving family, children, James Rego, Ronald (Rita) Rego, Kenneth (Julie) Rego, siblings, Julie (Robert) Solley, Tony Stytz, sister-in-law, Evelyn Vercellotti, grandchildren, Laura Rego, Thomas Rego, Daniel Rego, Jennifer Rego and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Mary Stytz (Sowa), husband, Carl Rego, siblings, Helen (Nick) Sedar, Frank Stytz, Ann (Walter) Zepelak, Caroline (Andy) Payton, Theresa (Leo) Moraski, Louis (Marie) Stytz, John (Jenny) Stytz and Margie (Robert) Thoren.

Eleanor was a lifelong member of St. Dennis Church in Lockport and was actively involved in many church and school functions over the years. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at St. Dennis Church, 1214 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 from 10:15 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment and a time for reflection on Eleanor's life will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Lockport immediately following the funeral mass.
