89, of Orland Park, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. Eileen was born in Chicago to the late Albert and Anne (nee Flynn) Scherzer. Beloved wife of the late Vernon E. Piper; loving mother of Linda (Bradley) Subler, Vern (Charlene) Piper, the late Diane Piper, Patrick (Paula) Piper, the late Kelly Piper, and Laura (Darryn) Witt; cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 16; dear sister of the late James (the late Shirley) Scherzer. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eileen's name to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 9:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
