Effie A. Wanzer
Effie A. Wanzer, age 83, resident of McDonough, GA; formerly of Des Plaines, Joliet, and New Lenox, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Beloved mother of Tedra "Teddie" (Rick) Stacy; cherished grandmother of Matthew Wayne Ebert, Geri Lynn (Mark) Johnson, and Phillip R. (Jessica) Stacy; dear sister of Florence Parks, Mary Keagle, and Sandra Neubauer. Effie was preceded in death by her parents William Wanzer and Mabel Kunkel; and her siblings William Wanzer, LeRoy Wanzer, Joseph Wanzer, and Dorothy Gravelle. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service at 6:00 PM.
