73, of Matteson, passed away Monday July 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born in Chicago, IL to the late Ernest and Francine (nee Kessl) Goering. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late James Shaw; loving mother of James (Laurie) Shaw, Kelly (Edward) Cranston, Melissa Wagner, and Jennifer (Kristofer) Doerr; cherished grandmother of Emily Cranston, Brendan (Taylor) Kass, Mathew (Emily) Shaw, Meagan Turner, Tyler Shaw, Andrew Doerr, Jillian Turner, Ashley Doerr, Courteney Cranston, Thomas James Cranston, Adam Doerr, and Kaylan Wagner; beloved great-grandmother of James Kass, Arya Kass, Parker Kass; dear sister of Ellen (Joe), Gayle (John), Rusty, late Thomas, Sue (Cas), Jean; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Known as a grandmother to many.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Tuesday August 5, 2025, from 10A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Interment will immediately follow the visitation at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
