Donna Jean Karris

Donna Jean Karris (Gay), age 79, a longtime resident of Orland Park formerly of the Chicago, Midway area, passed away on Friday October 21,2022. Loving wife of Wayne Karris; beloved mother of Julie (fiancé Paul DeCosmo) Stephens; dearest sister of Fred (Mary) Gay and the late Bill (Marie) Gay; cherished grandmother of Richard Stephens and Lea Stephens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Donna volunteered at the Treasure Chest in Tinley Park. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and loved to sew and knit.  A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox IL 60451 on Saturday October 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Donna’s name  to the Treasure Chest,  www.treasurechest.org or the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org would be appreciated
