Dolores Alleruzzo (nee Seminara)
Age 89, of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully Saturday, March 7, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family. Dolores (Dee) was born in Chicago, IL to the late Salvatore and Phillipina (nee Trovato) Seminara.
Beloved wife of 66 years of Nicholas Alleruzzo; loving mother of the late Susan Alleruzzo (Jeffrey) Joyner, Nicholas (Juli Westergren) Alleruzzo, Lynn Alleruzzo, and Paul Alleruzzo; cherished grandmother of Lindsay (Mikell Wyman) Joyner, Lisa (Mark) Wiltse, Chelsea (Manuel) Baloa, Ethan (Allison LoCascio) Alleruzzo, and Adam Alleruzzo; proud great grandmother of Elle Marie Wiltse; dear sister of the late Mary (late Rosario) Baio and the late Jerome Seminara; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Dee was a Registered Nurse who became the neighborhood nurse after staying home to raise her children. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Prestwick Country Club, both in Frankfort, IL. She was part of the 9-hole women’s golf group, helped organize the biannual luncheon fashion shows, and every Sunday, she looked forward to spending time with her breakfast club friends after church. Dee enjoyed attending many of her grandchildren’s sporting events which included traveling to other states. She especially loved Sunday dinners and holidays with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends and family at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Everyone will meet at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m.
