Age 78, of Joliet, IL, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, IL. Dee was born in Centralia, IL to the late Vernon V. and Esther (nee Haney) Bland. Beloved wife of the late Vernon L. Sellars; loving mother of Vernon (Roxanne) Sellars, the late Michael Sellars, and the late David Sellars; cherished grandmother of Michael Sellars; dear sister of Diana Lawson, Jim Bland, and the late Laverne (Kay) Bland; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
