Debra Jean Klausing (nee Johanson)

Age 60, of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Lightways Hospice, Joliet, IL. Debra was born in Joliet, IL to the late Edward W. and Jean D. (nee Brown) Johanson.  

Beloved wife of Allen L. Klausing; loving mother of Krystle Tempel and Katy Klausing; cherished grandmother of Emry Sky Klausing-James and Kiora Daisy Tempel; dear sister of Susan (Richard) Lentz; loved aunt, cousin, and dear friend. Debra received her bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL. She was a bus driver for New Lenox School District #122 and Lincoln Way #210 for over 20 years.

Debra was a nature lover and enjoyed taking pictures of the deer in her yard. Debra will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but she will be missed most of all by her beloved three cats. The family will receive friends at the United Methodist Church of New Lenox on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am.
