60, of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Dean was born in Chicago to the late Edward and Helen (nee Brion) Smith. He was a Member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #73 for more than 30 years and worked for Turano Baking Company for 4 years. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Amendola); loving father of Samantha (Justin Stanley) Smith, Natalie (fiancé Bill Davies) Smith and Anthony Smith; dear brother of Karen Garrison and the late Larry Smith; fond uncle of many. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 2-9PM. Funeral service Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment Private.
