David dedicated his professional life to Star/Homewood Disposal, where he made lasting friendships and contributed significantly to his community. Alongside this commitment, he cultivated a successful roofing business, showcasing his talents and resilience. He was known for his incredible ability to fix anything and his willingness to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. His proudest accomplishment was the way he made himself available to assist anyone in need, embodying the true essence of community and compassion.

A devoted family man, David relished every moment spent with his loved ones. He was always fun to be around, with a contagious enthusiasm for life that inspired those fortunate enough to know him. His hobbies included being an avid and accomplished bowler, as well as indulging in snowmobiling, boating, and cars. These passions brought him joy and allowed him to share unforgettable experiences with family and friends.

His personality radiated warmth and kindness. David's optimism and strength were unwavering, even in challenging times. David is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Mulder, and his cherished son, David Mulder. He also leaves behind his sisters, Cynthia (David) Roberts, Karen Oost, Deborah (Michael) Kindelin, and brother, Francis (Mary Anne) Mulder Jr. Additionally, David is survived by his dear in-laws, Robert (Marsha) DeFacci, Thomas (Bobbie) DeFacci, and Susan Donato, along with numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Mulder Sr., mother, Christine (Huiner) Mulder/Slager, and brothers, Bennett Mulder and Thomas Mulder. Their memories will forever serve as a crucial part of David's remarkable story.
