David Alexander Adams

David Alexander Adams, age 85 of New Lenox, IL, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026. Born in Chicago on July 13, 1940, he was the son of Alexander and Emma (Tunaitis) Adams. Dave was the loving husband of Ellen Clydean Adams, father to Scott Adams and Heather (Oliver) Adams and grandfather to Lauren, Charlotte and Lillian Oliver. He was the oldest of siblings Kenneth, William, Jack and Kristine Adams.

Dave was an Army veteran and had a long career at Illinois Bell then AT&T before retiring. He deeply loved and cared for his family and enjoyed boating and taking the family water skiing and on lake vacations. He was an active r/c model airplane flier and involved with many model clubs around the local area. Dave was loved by many and will never disappear from the memories of those who knew him.

Private interment service will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on June 3, 2026, at 12:30.
